The Targaryen king Paegon the Just is dead by an assassin's hand, his queen and his heir lost at sea, and the Regent fled for his life. William Stark was chosen by the lords of the land and now rules from the Iron Throne, but his rule is only days old and not everyone is resigned to this choice... and a new shadow rises in the East. This is the world in which Genna Stark lives. A few days ago, Genna Stark was the second daughter of William Stark, Lord of Winterfell and Warden of the North. Now her father holds the Iron Throne, crowned king of the seven kingdoms and Genna Stark is a princess. She and her twin sister Gwyn have found themselves installed in Kings Landing, and Genna is having the time of her life.
